Assistant Professor Dr. Radwan Al-Sharifi Presides over an Arbitral Tribunal at the 7th Saudi International Commercial Arbitration Competition
Assistant Professor Dr. Radwan Al-Sharifi, a faculty member at the College of Law, University of Al-Hamdaniya, presided over an arbitral tribunal session during the 7th edition of the International Commercial Arbitration Competition. Organized by the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA), the event is part of a series of scientific competitions aimed at enhancing students’ practical skills in the field of international commercial arbitration.
The session, conducted via video conferencing (Zoom) as Online Hearing (69), featured a legal dispute between the claimant team from Al-Ahliyya First College in Al-Ahsa and the respondent team from Prince Sultan University. The tribunal was composed of distinguished experts, including Consultant Dr. Ahmed Hassan Hussein and Dr. Rehab Mostafa Kamel from the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The hearing witnessed high-caliber legal pleadings characterized by precision, depth, and strict adherence to the procedural rules of international commercial arbitration. This reflected the advanced academic level of the participants and underscored the significance of such competitions in honing students’ applied legal capabilities.
