The Faculty of Law at Al-Hamdaniya University recently organized an orientation session dedicated to its students. The event was conducted by Ms. Shaimaa Qais, Head of the Quality Assurance Division, in collaboration with Assistant Lecturer Rami Ahmed Younis. The session aimed to provide a comprehensive set of guidelines and essential advice to help students prepare for the upcoming examination period, in the presence of a number of the faculty’s students.
As part of the college’s ongoing academic and student engagement initiatives, the session covered several key areas, including strategic study planning, effective time management, and efficient subject revision. It also highlighted the importance of maintaining mental well-being before and during exams, while emphasizing the necessity of strict adherence to the university’s official examination instructions and academic regulations.
During her presentation, Ms. Shaimaa Qais stressed the importance of regular revision, relying on credible academic references, and fostering collaboration among peers. She also encouraged students to take full advantage of the academic support and office hours provided by faculty members. Furthermore, she urged students to maintain self-confidence and focus on their academic attainment to achieve excellence.
This session is part of a series of student-centered activities through which the Faculty of Law seeks to provide psychological and academic support ahead of final examinations, fostering an environment conducive to academic success and outstanding student performance.
