Under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Anas Mahmoud Khalaf, Dean of the College, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law, concluded today, Sunday, April 19, 2026, the training course titled “Developing the Self-Protection Skills of University Women.”

The course witnessed active participation from a group of esteemed academics, including Asst. Lect. Mazen Mohammed Ismail, Asst. Lect. Raghad Abdullah Hassan, Asst. Lect. Taiba Wathiq Mamdouh, and Asst. Lect. Ghufran Hani Elias. The sessions were held under the distinguished organizational management of the course rapporteur, Ms. Aya Shalan Malallah, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college.

The sessions focused on empowering academic women and enhancing their leadership role in facing contemporary environmental challenges by presenting scientific and legal perspectives aimed at consolidating a culture of sustainability within the university campus and society. This course reflects the concerted efforts between the college’s units to elevate the social and skill awareness of female students and staff, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
