Under the patronage of the President of the University of Al-Hamdaniya, Professor Dr. Anisat Mubarak Saliwa, and in the distinguished presence of the Dean of the College of Law alongside the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Assistant Professor Dr. Nouri Saber Mohammed, the Department of English hosted its first annual festival in celebration of International English Language Day.
The festival witnessed significant engagement from both faculty members and students. The attendance of college deans from diverse disciplines, particularly the College of Law, underscored the vital importance of the English language as an indispensable tool for scientific research and global knowledge exchange. The event featured a variety of academic presentations and activities aimed at enhancing linguistic proficiency and aligning it with contemporary requirements. This initiative aligns with the university’s aspirations to prepare graduates who are proficient in global communication tools across all scientific, legal, and educational fields.
