The Scientific Department at the College of Law organized a scientific visit for its students to the Directorate of Execution and the Notary Public Office in Al-Hamdaniya. This initiative is part of the college’s scientific activities aimed at enhancing the practical and applied aspects of legal education and familiarizing students with the nature of legal and administrative work within institutions relevant to their specialization.
The visit included an introduction to the mechanisms for executing legal judgments and decisions, as well as the procedures followed at the Al-Hamdaniya Execution Directorate. Furthermore, students gained insights into the operations of the Notary Public Office, highlighting its role in organizing legal powers of attorney, formal notices, transactions, and official attestations as an independent legal and administrative entity providing vital services to citizens.
The visit provided students with a significant opportunity for direct exposure to the legal work environment, helping them acquire practical expertise that contributes to developing their academic and professional skills, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical study and real-world application.
The visit was supervised by Professor Dr. Muayyad Mohammed Yaqoub, Head of the Law Department, along with Assistant Lecturer Adeeb Abdul Majeed Ahmed and Assistant Lecturer Dilshad Mohammed Zarra. The supervisors emphasized the importance of such scientific activities in preparing students who possess both legal knowledge and the necessary practical experience.
At the conclusion of the visit, the College of Law expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to the management of the Al-Hamdaniya Execution Directorate and the Notary Public Office for their cooperation, warm reception, and continuous support for scientific activities that serve the educational process.
