Under the patronage of the President of the University of Al-Hamdaniya, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Anas Mahmoud Khalaf Al-Jubouri, the first day of the specialized training course titled “Green University Practice and Its Impact on Promoting Green Production” commenced today, Sunday, May 3, 2026. The course was organized through the fruitful cooperation between the College of Law and the College of Administration and Economics.
The opening session featured an in-depth knowledge presentation by Assistant Professor Dr. Laura Basim Al-Saour, a faculty member at the College of Administration and Economics. The lecture focused on reviewing modern visions for transforming academic institutions into sustainable environments that adopt international environmental standards. It further highlighted the fundamental role these practices play in supporting and developing green production concepts within society.
This initiative reflects the commitment of both colleges to promoting environmental awareness and equipping participants with the necessary skills to integrate sustainability into university and production workflows. This ensures a vital balance between intellectual development and the preservation of environmental resources for future generations.
