Within the framework of scientific cooperation and the exchange of academic expertise among Iraqi universities, the College of Law at the University of Al-Hamdaniya, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Muath Mohammed Yaqoub, participated in the examination committee for the doctoral dissertation titled:
“The Legal Framework for Agreements on the Sale of Mortgaged Property Outside Public Auction Procedures: A Comparative Study”
The dissertation was submitted by the candidate, Bahjat Ali Mohammed, to the Council of the College of Law at Tikrit University.
The defense took place on Monday, May 4, 2026. The committee comprised a distinguished group of professors specializing in Civil Law:

Following an extensive defense by the candidate, the committee decided to accept the dissertation and recommended granting the degree after the completion of the required amendments.
