In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Women’s Affairs Department, and in implementation of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security (2025–2030).
The Women’s Affairs Unit at our college continues its scientific and educational activities, having organized two distinguished workshops today. The first workshop, titled “Women’s Rights in Iraqi Law,” was presented by Asst. Lect. Maisa Hisham Bahjat, where she addressed the key rights guaranteed by Iraqi law to women and the importance of enhancing legal awareness.
The second workshop was held under the title “Strategic Planning and Decision-Making for Working Women,” presented by Ms. Aya Shaalan Mal Allah, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit. She discussed the significance of sound planning and its role in developing the personality of working women and empowering them to make successful decisions in their professional lives.
The two workshops witnessed remarkable interaction from the attendees, as part of the Unit’s ongoing efforts in supporting and empowering women.
