Emphasizing the promotion of a culture of governance within the academic community, Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Saeed Khudair, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, presented an interactive workshop titled ‘Legal Governance and Administrative Excellence: Rights, Duties, and Quality Standards in the University Environment.’
The workshop featured an in-depth presentation by Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Saeed, who focused on dissecting the reciprocal relationship between the legal rights and duties of both staff and academics. The workshop also demonstrated how mechanisms of good governance and the application of international quality standards can contribute to creating a distinguished university environment characterized by flexibility and high administrative efficiency.
The workshop was marked by notable and specialized attendance, including associate deans from peer colleges, members of scientific committees, heads of quality assurance and university performance units, as well as a number of academics and researchers. An active and constructive dialogue took place, during which attendees provided valuable insights and proposals on how to transform quality standards from paper-based texts into practical applications within the university campus. The workshop concluded with the honoring of participants and recognition of the Scientific Associate Dean’s efforts in shedding light on this vital topic.
