Tasks of the Continuing Education Unit

Prepare the annual plan for training programs in light of the university and college directives, as well as the requirements of quality assurance and academic accreditation.

Organize and implement training courses, workshops, and seminars for academic staff, administrative personnel, and students, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

Assess the training needs of all college divisions through analysis forms, meetings, and direct coordination with academic and administrative departments.

Develop training programs in alignment with scientific and technological advancements and modern training standards.

Create and maintain databases for trainees and trainers, including records, certificates, and participation rates, updating them periodically.

Coordinate with academic departments to attract experienced lecturers and define the scientific topics for courses.

Establish training partnerships with governmental and private educational and professional institutions to enhance training effectiveness.

Prepare periodic, monthly, and annual reports on unit activities and submit them to the college administration.

Document all training activities through photos, session minutes, attendance sheets, and participation certificates in accordance with quality guidelines.

Supervise the issuance of certificates for course participants and ensure their compliance with official regulations.

Activate e-training programs using digital platforms and provide technical support to participants.

Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through evaluation forms, analyze results, and propose improvements.

Include unit activities in the annual performance evaluation requirements and provide the necessary data to the Quality Assurance Unit.

Contribute to community service by organizing events and training programs aimed at the local environment.

Comply with ministerial and university regulations related to continuing education activities and update programs according to the Ministry’s general framework.
