On the Occasion of World Arabic Language Day: A Field Visit to the Arabic Language Department at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Al-Hamdaniya
Marking World Arabic Language Day, the Quality Assurance Division at the College of Law, University of Al-Hamdaniya, organized a scientific and cultural field visit. Representing the Dean’s Office, several faculty members and students participated in the visit to underscore the pivotal role of the Arabic language in legal sciences and the drafting of legislative and judicial texts.
The visit aimed to highlight the status of the Arabic language as the language of legislation and law, serving as an essential tool for sound legal understanding and the precise drafting of judgments and contracts. Furthermore, it sought to enhance linguistic awareness among students and develop their skills in the accurate application of legal terminology.
The program included various scientific and cultural activities that emphasized the close relationship between the Arabic language and the law. It highlighted the language’s role in preserving legal and cultural identity, aligning with the mission of the College of Law to prepare legal professionals distinguished by both scientific competence and rigorous linguistic proficiency.
