As part of the methodological steps taken by the College of Law to promote the values of integrity and undermine manifestations of administrative corruption, the University Psychological Counseling Unit organized a workshop on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, titled “Corruption in the Education Sector and Ways to Address It.” The session was presented by Dr. Marwan Kamil Jumaa, offering a presentation characterized by depth and rigorous academic analysis.
The lecturer commenced the workshop with a detailed explanation of the nature of the challenges facing educational institutions. He clarified that corruption in this vital sector is not limited to financial waste but extends to include various administrative and academic forms that directly affect the quality of scientific outcomes and the credibility of the degrees awarded.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that this event is an integral part of the College of Law’s vision to combat administrative corruption in all its forms. This is achieved by diagnosing loopholes and establishing realistic legal remedies that ensure the educational process proceeds according to global integrity and quality standards, serving the best interests of the student, the institution, and society alike.
