On Monday, February 2, 2026, the College of Law organized a specialized guidance seminar titled “Exam Anxiety and Psychological Stress: Impact on Student Behavior.” This initiative is part of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit’s plan to support students during the examination period.
The seminar featured a profound lecture delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ghufran Hani Elias and Assistant Lecturer Sama Yasser Abdul-Wahhab. The presenters provided a detailed analysis of the psychological aspects associated with exams and the resulting pressures that directly affect concentration levels and academic achievement. They further explored the nature of anxiety as an emotional response that necessitates conscious management to prevent it from evolving into negative behaviors, such as mental distraction or a decline in self-confidence.
Furthermore, the seminar focused on analyzing the correlation between psychological stress and student behavioral patterns. It offered practical solutions and scientific strategies aimed at enhancing emotional stability and fostering a stimulating study environment conducive to excellence.
