On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, the College of Law participated in the activities of “Entrepreneurship Week” at the University of Al-Hamdaniya, in collaboration with the College of Administration and Economics. The participation featured a scientific session focused on the pivotal role of legislation in supporting the business environment, delivered by Dr. Marwan Kamil Jumaa, a faculty member at the College of Law.

The session provided an in-depth legal vision regarding “Intellectual Property” (IP), characterizing it as the safety valve and legal shield that protects youth innovations from exploitation while granting startups a sustainable market value. This discourse reflected a strategic integration between the legal, administrative, and economic sectors to empower innovators with the necessary tools for success. While the economic aspect focused on the returns of small-scale projects, the College of Law addressed the mechanisms for legally fortifying these ventures. This collaborative effort aims to cultivate an entrepreneurial generation that is well-aware of its rights and capable of competing in the labor market with confidence and legal strength.
