As part of the scientific activities of the College of Law at the University of Al-Hamdaniya, Professor Dr. Anas Mahmoud Khalaf Al-Jubouri participated as a member of a Master’s thesis defense committee on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the College of Rights, University of Mosul.

The session involved the defense of the Master’s thesis titled “Crimes Affecting Religious Sentiment: A Comparative Study,” submitted by the student Abrar Mahdi Saleh Mar’i Al-Dulaimi. The study explored crimes that impact religious sentiment as a fundamental component of religious freedom, examining the extent to which it should be legally protected. Furthermore, it clarified the legal concept of religious sentiment and the boundaries of its protection within the framework of comparative criminal laws.

At the conclusion of the defense, the committee praised the scientific effort exerted in the thesis for its comparative legal treatment of a subject with significant intellectual and social importance, wishing the student continued success in her academic journey.
