President of Al-Hamdaniya University Discusses Programmatic Accreditation Plans for the Colleges of Physical Education and Law, Underscoring Efforts to Compete in the Iraqi National Ranking.

Prof. Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, President of Al-Hamdaniya University, chaired an expanded meeting to review programmatic accreditation plans for the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and the College of Law. The session focused on strategies to fulfill accreditation requirements and standards in alignment with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR).

The meeting was attended by the deans of the respective colleges, their assistants, and several faculty members. The discussions addressed the completion rates of accreditation prerequisites and the performance of specialized committees tasked with overseeing implementation. During the session, the President emphasized the necessity of adhering to specified timelines and ensuring completion within acceptable periods to guarantee the achievement of the desired academic quality.

Furthermore, the University President addressed mechanisms for supporting local and international scientific publishing. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to providing the necessary facilities to bolster scientific research and elevate the educational process. These initiatives aim to enhance the university’s institutional standing, strengthen its competitiveness within the Iraqi National Ranking, and ensure it keeps pace with contemporary scientific and research developments.
