The Scientific Committee at the College of Law, University of Al-Hamdaniya (UoH), held its second meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year today, Monday, May 11, 2026. The session was dedicated to a comprehensive review of the current academic status and ensuring the college’s readiness for upcoming scientific milestones.

The committee emphasized activating the role of academic advising to address any delays in student performance prior to the start of exams. Furthermore, the committee reviewed the quality standards for end-of-semester examination questions, directing that they must comprehensively cover the curriculum and measure students’ levels of legal understanding and analysis, moving away from traditional rote learning.

In the same context, the meeting included the formation of a Plagiarism and Intellectual Integrity Committee, as well as a committee to define general and specific teaching specializations. The procedural steps to be taken by the examination committees regarding hall organization and proctor distribution were also explained, aimed at ensuring transparency, fairness, and a stable environment for students.

The meeting concluded by reaffirming that this diligent oversight is part of the college’s strategy to enhance academic rigor and ensure the successful conclusion of the academic season according to the university calendar, achieving integration between theoretical material and practical application in legal studies.
