Professor Dr. Anas Mahmoud Khalaf Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Al-Hamdaniya, participated as a member of the specialized ministerial committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The committee visited the College of Law at Tikrit University this morning, Monday, June 15, 2026, to review the scientific, academic, and logistical capabilities for the establishment of a doctoral program (Ph.D.) in Criminal Law / Department of Public Law.
The participation of Dr. Al-Jubouri and the ministerial committee comes within the framework of evaluating the extent to which the college meets the standards and regulations approved by the ministry. The committee held an extensive meeting with the college deanship, the vice-deans, and several faculty members, during which they reviewed and discussed the proposed scientific curricula, teaching staff, infrastructure, as well as future research plans for the proposed program.
The visit also included a field tour in which Dr. Al-Jubouri participated alongside the committee members, which covered the classrooms, the legal library, and the scientific facilities at the college. At the conclusion of the tour, the committee presented a series of valuable observations and recommendations that contribute to supporting the college’s efforts and developing its academic programs, ensuring the rigor of the Ph.D. program to be established.
